NavPrakriti Green Energies is a rapidly growing lithium-ion battery recycling company focused on building sustainable solutions for the clean energy ecosystem. With operations spanning battery recycling, black mass production, hydrometallurgical refining, and second-life battery refurbishment, we are scaling aggressively and building the financial foundation for our next phase of growth.
We are looking for a strategic and hands-on Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our leadership team and work closely with the founders to drive growth, fundraising, financial planning, and business strategy.
What You'll Do
- Lead the company's overall finance function and financial strategy.
- Partner with founders on business planning, growth initiatives, and strategic decisions.
- Drive equity and debt fundraising efforts.
- Build and maintain relationships with investors, banks, and financial institutions.
- Own budgeting, forecasting, MIS reporting, and financial planning.
- Manage treasury operations, cash flow, and working capital.
- Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, regulatory, and audit requirements.
- Strengthen financial controls, governance, and reporting frameworks.
- Lead and mentor the finance and accounts team.
What We're Looking For Must Have
- 12+ years of experience in finance leadership roles.
- Experience as CFO, Finance Head, VP Finance, or equivalent.
- Proven experience in fundraising, including equity and debt financing.
- Strong expertise in FP&A, treasury, budgeting, and financial strategy.
- Experience managing investor relations and stakeholder communication.
- Strong understanding of compliance, taxation, audit, and corporate governance.
- Team leadership experience with direct reports.
Preferred
- Background in manufacturing, industrial, renewable energy, clean-tech, recycling, or high-growth startups.
- Experience working with PE/VC investors.
- Knowledge of export finance, FEMA, DGFT, RBI regulations, and international trade finance.
- CA, MBA Finance, or equivalent qualification.
